Lixen Tablets  are a veterinary-grade oral antibiotic prescribed to dogs and cats to treat various bacterial infections. They are manufactured by Virbac.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Lixen is Cephalexin . It is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by stopping bacteria from building their protective cell walls, which causes them to die.

The tablets are formulated with PALATABS technology (using flavoring agents and excipients like lactose and microcrystalline cellulose) to make them tasty enough for pets to consume voluntarily.

Veterinarians prescribe Lixen to combat sensitive bacterial infections in several areas of a pet’s body, including:

• Skin and Soft Tissues: Treats superficial pyoderma, bacterial dermatitis, and infections in cuts and wounds.
